Some of my favourite dark and trippy tunes from recent times. Most of the tracks are either by, or produced by Alex O'Rion, and are very trippy and baseline driven, almost like the house version of dub reggae. My stand out tracks are definitely Darkhall by EANP - Darkhall, and Blue by Alex O'Rion. The mix also includes artists such as Paul Angelo & Don Argento, Gabriel Filip, and Forniva.

Back to my favourite genre, I was missing the hypnotic beats and atmospheric sounds of some of the best progressive house around. Pretty much all of the tracks were released in the last couple of months. This mix has quite a hard, driving bass feel to it. My stand out tracks are definitely Ambar by Max Blade & Martin Andrioli, and Crabo by Emi Galvn. The mix also includes artists such as Erdi Irmak, Lucas Rodriguez, and Dynacom.

Like a lot of people, I am stuck in the garden these days when it is sunny, so I made this mix for lounging around in the sun to. It has a more laid back and melodic vibe to it, reminding me of the old Balearic beats back in the day, and includes artists such as Gaston Zalazar, Hermanez Eran Aviner, and Juan Sapia.

Inspired by the epic progressive house mixes by Digweed and Sasha in the early 1990's, I have tried to slowly build the dark atmosphere and energy as the mix progresses. I particularly love the track by Chris Cargo, titled Coyote. Not only does it have a fantastic retro breakdown, it also has a dog barking in it. The mix also includes artists such as Lio Q, Daniel Glover, and Katzen.

Third in a series of deep, dark bass thumping progressive house tracks, mixed to take you on a journey. The stand out track is Bucharest At Night by Gabriel Filip, an atmospheric and sparse sound that slowly builds and the break down is outstanding. Probably in my top ten house tunes of all time, I really think it is that good. Other artists included are Analog Jungs, Midnight Traffic and Ewan Rill, and the most of the tracks are released in 2019 or 2020.

Sometimes it will take weeks to find tunes that go together, are in key, and the beats sound nice blended. Sometimes I just pick ten from a list of tracks that I like, have a drink, and it all comes together. Not often however. But this is one mix that only took a few hours to arrange, but quite a few more fine tuning it on the computer. I was after a deep, atmospheric mix, but with thumping bass lines.
